All product shipped open account is due net 25th of the following month. Billing for the month concludes the last business day of the month. Any open account that is delinquent can be charged a 1.5% a month late fee, and put on C.O.D until the account becomes current. If the delinquency becomes persistent that account may be placed on permanent C.O.D. All C.O.D orders can be paid by company check once that account has been company check approved. We also accept money orders, cashier checks, or you can pay by credit card. We accept Visa, MC, Discover, and American Express credit cards for payment.


Akerly & Childs warranties their products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect all products carefully when received before use or modifying. You must verify prior to end gapping rings that they are the correct size for your application. The high performance parts sold in this catalog are sold without any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular application. Akerly & Childs will not be held liable for any consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or revenue, loss of other property or equipment, cost of purchase or replacement of goods, or claims of customers of the purchaser, which may arise and/or result from the sale, installation or use of these parts.


All orders are shipped F.O.B. from (91355) Valencia, California. If no shipping instructions are received with your order, we will ship by the most reasonable method in accordance with the size and weight of your order. If you require special handling of your order, such as overnight or second day delivery, this must be specified when the order is placed. There is no drop ship charge with any Akerly & Childs product.


Purchased product can only be returned within 45 days from invoice date. You must request and be issued a return goods authorization number (RGA) from Akerly & Childs before product can be returned. This number must be displayed on the outside of the package, or our receiving department will not accept it. Product returned must be freight prepaid, as we will not accept any C.O.D. packages. All returned product for credit or exchange must be returned as originally received by the customer when purchased. Custom manufactured, altered, or used products will not be accepted for refund, credit or exchange.
